We previously reported that Konami had already shipped 3 million copies of The Phantom Pain in the first week. This seems to have worked wonders as according to the unofficial Steam sales tracker SteamSpy, the game has already sold close to 700,000 copies.
If you remember, the PC version was supposed to launch on September 15th, two weeks after the console launch but Konami bought the launch to coincide with the console versions.
